Choose sill plates for the front door, rear door, or both. The door sill comprises two CNC-cut mill finish aluminum plates, adhered together to achieve a thickness of 1/8″. The lettering stands at approximately 1″ tall, and each plate boasts a brushed aluminum finish. Additional sizes are available upon selection.
Our Door Sill Plates offer a range of finishing options, including painting, wrapping, hydro-dipping, powder-coating, or maintaining a sleek factory finish. If you choose the factory finish look, it’s advisable to apply a light clear coat paint to prevent discoloration from oils or handling. Ensure a secure fit by attaching the plate using the supplied double-sided 3M tape.
Alternatively, if you prefer an accent color to complement your cutout design, follow a process similar to option one. After completing the cutout plate, paint, polish, clear, dip, or wrap the remaining blank plate. Utilize the supplied two-part epoxy to attach the two plates, ensuring precise alignment. Complete the process by adhering the bottom of the backer plate to the car using the provided 3M tape.
