3gcustomz now produces an array of aluminum skid plates, which offer an additional layer of protection for your lower engine cradle and a direct replacement for the OEM Service cover. We offer a blank version where the entire piece is solid or with oil change access holes for your specific model. If you are looking for an additional layer of protection or, instead want to change your oil with the plastic panel hassle then this is the right part for you.
Don’t forget to check out our line of Bumper Support Plates as well that pair with our Skid Plates. They extend from the from of the cradle to the back of the bumper for added coverage and protection from road debris.

WILL NOT FIT AWD MODELS

For the Charger/Challenger, 300 or Magnum our Skid Plate covers the lower engine cradle and oil pan.

For the Durango and Jeep Cherokee Models our Skid Plate covers the plastic transmission pan cover.

Skid Plate Material Info

Our Skid Plates are manufactured from 1/8″ Mill Finished Brushed Aluminum. This is a no brainer for that extra level of protection and convenience. We not only, but also include Stainless Steel Bolts and Stainless Heavy Duty Washers. This ensures a solid install with the correct hardware for the application.
